Hany El-Sayed Ahmed Autobiography
Hany Elsayed Ahmed is an Egyptian sculptor born in Alexandria, Egypt, in 1972. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Art Education from the University of Alexandria Specific Education. He pursued further studies in Arts at the L’ATELIER of Alexandria and has participated in the art movement since 1990. In 2018, He obtained a Master’s degree in Technical Formations of Hard Stones from the Faculty of Specific Education, Alexandria University. Mr. Hany’s work has been shown frequently in galleries and museums across Egypt and in many shows throughout the world. His collectibles have been displayed in the Museum of Modern Art, Spanish Cultural Center in Alexandria, Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Mohamed Rashid Foundation, and Alexandria Faculty of Specific Education with private collections across Spain, Italy, Turkey, China, and India. He designed the Almaza Bay sculptures and the Man of the Match award for the 2019 African Nations Championship. Other international exhibition highlights include the 2001 Kanazawa Biennale in Japan, 2002 Biennial Imagination of the Book at Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Egypt, 2004 Intimate relationship exhibition at the Egyptian Cultural Center in Italy, 2005 32nd Alexandria Biennale for Mediterranean Countries in Egypt, and 2008 Mediterranean Youth Biennale in Italy.Memberships
